The Shoah and Its Victims

The following list contains 953 names of people of Jewish descent who were born in Mecklenburg or otherwise had a connection to Mecklenburg. These people were Jews, Christians, agnostics, or atheists. The only thing that made them all equal was the hatred and racial mania of the National Socialists, to which they fell victim -- either by being directly murdered or because the hopelessness of their situation led them to take their own lives.
May they not be forgotten.

Even though this list was compiled with the greatest care, it currently does not claim completeness. Likewise, isolated errors may still be present.
